Neurodivergent Workshop: The Masks We Wear

Join neurodivergent clinician and Art Therapist Erica O’Connell in a creative exploration of the experience of ‘masking’. Participants will reflect on their personal experience of masking or camouflaging to fit into a neurotypical world and then create a mask to offer a non-verbal expression of this experience. The masks created will help us to further identify and explore what aspects of self are often suppressed and which are consciously and unconsciously outward-facing.  Please bring yourself, an openness to create, and a journal if desired. All other materials will be provided. No prior art experience needed.

Neurodivergent Hangout: Movie Night

A no-pressure opportunity to hang out with other ND community members and connect around a shared interest - movies! We will get cozy and watch the movie Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022, Rated R, Run Time: 2h 15min). A 30-minute “end-of-movie open discussion” is built into the time allotted for this event, to support processing/integrating/connecting, but it is optional to stay for this part of the gathering.
