Internship Program

We are currently able to accept interns who are in a graduate-level mental health counseling program and are able to meet with clients in-person at our office at least 2 evenings per week M-Th from around 3-7pm. We are unable to accept interns enrolled in undergraduate mental health counseling programs, social work programs, coaching, art therapy, or any other programs at this time; nor are we able to accept interns for virtual-only internships.

We open applications when we are able to accept another intern. If we have availability, we usually open up applications with the following schedule:

Summer semester/May start - application opens in December

Fall semester/August start - application opens in April

Spring semester/January start - application opens in September

No, due to our setting we ​​are only able to accept interns that are able to do their practicum and internship with us for at least 2 consecutive semesters with academic supervision (in addition to our site supervision). The majority of our interns complete both their practicum and internship with us for a total of 3-4 semesters.

Spring semester/January start interns are expected to stay with us throughout the summer to fulfill our 2 consecutive semester requirement. All interns must have access to academic supervision throughout their time with us, which usually means enrollment in a summer course associated with internship. Interns who follow this track plan to stay with us for the duration of their internship, usually 3-4 semesters total (including practicum).
