Approach to treatment
Lisa is a graduate student in the Clinical Mental Health Counseling program at Rhode Island College and is currently completing her clinical internship with us at The Holistic Heart. Lisa believes the foundation for therapy is emotional safety and trust, and she provides a safe and welcoming space where clients feel comfortable sharing, free of judgment. She supports clients to deepen self-awareness, shape their own stories, and build a trusting relationship with their emotions. She approaches therapy as a collaborative experience where clients are empowered to move toward change and healing in alignment with their values.Â
