Foundations for a Good Life: exploring the yamas & niyamas

Yoga philosophy offers great wisdom and insight for those who wish to cultivate a balanced and rich life. In this workshop, dive into the first two of the eight limbs of yoga - the Yamas and Niyamas, which provide a strong foundation for practicing the yoga of life, off the mat, for deeper connection and increased harmony with yourself and others.

Monthly Meditation

Take time to visit with yourself during our monthly guided meditation. Relax laying flat with props and blankets for support, or simply find a comfortable seated position, as you are led through inner exploration for increased mindfulness, presence, and self-awareness.

“Me Time” Self-care Workshop

With the holiday season upon us, it can be challenging to remember to take care of you. This workshop will provide an opportunity to explore your level of self-care through a variety of exercises. This workshop will focus on the use of creative expression to facilitate self-discovery and personal exploration for increased self-awareness, insight development, and self-compassion.

Empath Group

Facilitator: Lauren Boulanger, MA           Date: Wednesday, December 12th
Time: 6:00pm-7:30pm

Investment: $20 per person

This group focuses on the discovery and development of your empathic self in a welcoming and supportive environment. Participants will learn about what being an empath is and isn't, discover the different types of empathic abilities, develop skills for managing empathic abilities, and build connection and community with other empaths in a healthy, supportive setting. This open enrollment group meets monthly, with different information, resources, and skills presented each month.

Has a book transformed you in some way? Would you like to tell others who are interested about it? Bring a book (or representation/picture of a book) that has felt transformative or impactful for you to this engaging group. Books can be any type - memoir, fiction, non-fiction, poetry, and beyond. Share your chosen book and why it was meaningful for you, connect with other readers, and build your reading list from others' inspirational shares! (Note: This is not a book swap; participants will leave with whichever book they brought to share.)

Light refreshments will also be available. This ongoing open group meets monthly.

iRest Yoga Nidra

(Guided Meditation)

Experience deep rest and self-inquiry. Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between waking and sleep where the body is completely relaxed and the attention is guided to the experience of Being. Participants are encouraged to come into a comfortable position either seated or laying down, supported by props as desired, and are guided through meditation into a state of deep relaxation and restoration. Includes self-reflection exercises, please bring a journal.

Cleanse & Renew Yoga

The Colors Within You: 7-week Chakra Series

Facilitator: Kara Clark, CYT               Date: Mondays, January 21st- March 4th

Investment: $95 per person for 7-week series

This series will focus on the 7 major energy centers, or chakras, in the human body and explore how they each play a role in the cultivation of overall mind/body wellness. Each week will be dedicated to the exploration of a single chakra through educational discussion and mindful movement, beginning at the root on week 1 and building upward. 


*Due to the progressive nature of this series, drop-ins will not be permitted and pre-registration for the entire 7 weeks is required.
