Self-Discovery & Connection Through the Expressive Arts Group for Adults

This group will focus on the use of expressive arts to facilitate self-discovery, increase self-esteem, and encourage positive peer connections. Through the utilization of creative expression, the group will develop strategies for emotion regulation, promote positive self-talk, and foster a sense of belonging and community in a compassionate and supportive environment. Interventions may include journaling, mindfulness, painting, drawing, expressive movement, sculpture, and music.

    Yoga for Stress & Anxiety Workshop

    This workshop will provide an intentional combination of education and experience. Attendees will be guided to reflect on what lies beneath the surface of anxiety for them, and learn ways to work with stress and anxiety as they present across mental, emotional, physical and spiritual layers of experience through:

    • Psychoeducation on how stress & anxiety effect the mind and body
    • Guided imagery to explore underlying needs
    • Learning yoga, breathing, and meditation practices to work with discomfort as it presents

    Restorative Yoga & Self-Reflexology

    Engage in the sacred practice of self-nourishment in this unique workshop designed to provide a supportive, healing experience as well as provide attendees with take-away techniques for ongoing self-care. What to expect:

    • Education on benefits and methodology of reflexology
    • Guided self-reflexology experience
    • Restorative yoga practice supported by props for deep release and surrender
    • Significant time spent in each posture to allow the depth and integration that can come to us during stillness
