Empath Group Part 1 of 3

Facilitator: Lauren Boulanger, MA           Date: Wednesday, April 24th
Time: 6:00pm-8:00pm Investment: $20 per person

This group focuses on the discovery and development of your empathic self in a welcoming and supportive environment. Participants will learn about what being an empath is and isn't, discover the different types of empathic abilities, develop skills for managing empathic abilities, and build connection and community with other empaths in a healthy, supportive setting.

This group meets monthly, and is structured as a 3-part educational series for new participants during the first hour, followed by an ongoing process group for new and seasoned group members alike in the second hour. Once you have been through all 3 educational sessions you are considered an alumni and are welcome to continue attending the process group as a resource for ongoing sharing and support.

April is Part 1 and will be focused on different types of empathy, guided self-assessment of your empathic styles, building awareness of how you use your empathic abilities every day.

“Me Time” Self-Care Workshop

Facilitator: Amy Matos, LICSW, CYT          Date: Friday, April 26th
Time: 6:30pm-8:00pm Investment: $20 per person

With the hustle and bustle of daily life, it can be challenging to take care of you. This workshop will provide an opportunity to explore your level of self-care through a variety of exercises. Participants will leave with increased self-compassion and motivation to improve their level of self-care within their day to day life.

iRest Yoga Nidra

Meditation for Deep Rest & Self-Inquiry

Facilitator: Kristen Acciari, LICSW, CYT Date: Friday, May 3rd
Time: 6:45pm-7:45pm

Investment: $20 *Class included in monthly membership

Experience deep rest and self-inquiry. Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, is a state of consciousness between waking and sleep where the body is completely relaxed and the attention is guided to the experience of Being. Participants are encouraged to come into a comfortable position either seated or laying down, supported by props as desired, and are guided through meditation into a state of deep relaxation and restoration. Includes self-reflection exercises, please bring a journal.

Participation is limited, pre-registration required.

Step Into Your Power Yoga

Facilitator: Brandi Hamlin, LICSW, CYT Date: Wednesday, May 8th
Time: 5:30-6:30pm

Investment: $15 per person *Class included in monthly membership

A yoga sequence that will invite you to focus on your strength, use your voice, and explore your physical and emotional power.

Empath Toolkit

Facilitator: Lauren Boulanger, MA Date: Friday, May 10th

Investment: $25 per person

This workshop will explore multisensory strategies for working with and managing empathy through a strengths-based approach. Participants will be guided through a group meditation, informative discussion around resources for empathic self-care, and create their own Self-Care cylinder using materials provided.

Expressive Arts Workshop

Facilitator: Sammy Knight, MA               Date: Monday, May 20th
Time: 7:00-8:30pm Investment: $25 per person

This workshop will focus on the use of creative expression to facilitate self-discovery and personal exploration for increased self-awareness, insight development, and self-compassion.

Transform Your Grief

Time: 6:30pm-8:30pm Investment: $25 per person

Grief and loss are some of the most challenging experiences to cope with in life. Please join us for this workshop which will provide a place to connect with and work through your struggle in a safe and supportive environment. This workshop will include brief education and discussion regarding loss, a yoga class to encourage releasing pain and reconnecting to love, time for reflection, and resources to assist participants moving forward. Bring yourself just as you are!
