Creating Your Self Care Toolbox Workshop

IN-PERSON at The Holistic Heart on Friday, 9/20 from 6:30pm-8:00pm with Erika Lucas, MHC-A, E-RYT 500

Spaces are limited. Register early to save your spot!

Join Erika for a deep dive into self-care. This workshop will explore how broad and also person-specific self-care can be. We will discuss and discover what self-care means for us uniquely, how/when it can show up for each of us in our lives, how to incorporate self-care and self-regulation practices, what personal cues might alert us that some self-care is needed, and more.

During our time together participants will each create a self-care list (a list of practices, things, rituals, people, experiences, activities, sensory experiences, etc., that nourish and support us), perhaps be inspired by the practices and/or ideas of what others share, and begin to create and curate a physical self-care container. This container will be home to your self-care list and its supportive elements (like a candle, lotion, journal, favorite fuzzy socks, crystals, etc.), for an easy, accessible, and personalized go-to resource for your self-care time.

Additional notes:

Writing utensils, paper, and art supplies will be available for use and a self-care container will be provided. Participants are welcome to bring any writing journals, containers, or artistic supplies from home, as well.
