A no-pressure opportunity to hang out with other ND community members and connect around a shared interest - playing backyard games (i.e., cornhole, Giant Jenga, Ladderball, ring toss, etc.)! Participate to the degree that you feel comfortable, whether that is playing your heart out, or hanging on the periphery and watching the game play unfold (or somewhere in between 😆). We’ll have our own game options on hand, but feel free to bring your favorite(s) if you have them! This is a 16+ event, so if you are bringing in any games from home, please check to make sure any games you bring are rated 16+. Please also refrain from bringing any water-related games. Once we see what our options are, we’ll take a vote and decide on what to play together.

NOTE: If temperature and/or weather conditions are not conducive to being outdoors, we will move to the rain date of Saturday, July 25th, 6:30 pm - 7:30 pm. Attendees will be notified via email if this switch occurs.

WHAT TO EXPECT: 

• this event will take place outside in the HH backyard to take advantage of the summer weather! please dress accordingly, and perhaps opt for layers if you’re someone who gets warm/cool while you are outside
• this is a low-structure, casual hang out event. the plan is to see what our game options are once everyone arrives, take a vote, and then play!
• fidgets and/or comfort items or any other supports are very much welcome
• snacks and drinks are both completely fine - you are welcome to bring either or both with you, and we have tea and water available at the center as well
• please refrain from wearing fragrances for the comfort of all attending
