with Lisa Gwilliam, Holistic Counseling Intern (supervised by Melissa Wakely, LMHC)
Join Lisa for this 4-week group series for individuals seeking support with reducing stress and managing anxiety. This group will offer a warm, supportive, and welcoming space for participants to share experiences, build resources, and benefit from the strength that comes from connection and community.
Through open discussion, psychoeducation, grounding exercises, guided meditations, journaling, and more, participants will explore how stress can affect mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health, and learn ways to develop healthy coping skills through increased self-awareness and cultivating networks of support.
We’ll also dive into key topics such as the physiology of stress, the differences between stress vs. anxiety, and common ways stress can manifest in daily life, in order to better understand and improve your relationship with stress.
Come together to be surrounded by a nurturing, compassionate community, offer and receive support, and learn skills to connect with your inner strength and resiliency.
