Liz Downing

Holistic Counseling Intern attending Salve Regina University, Certified Yoga Teacher

Approach to treatment

Liz approaches counseling with the understanding that we are interconnected with the whole of life. In tending to our own well-being, we increase the well-being of the world around us. Liz centers and grounds her counseling practice in her clients' experiences, allowing them to gain greater understanding of their strengths, challenges, relationships, and needs. Liz's counseling work is influenced by her daily meditation, yoga asana, contemplative, and nature-centered practices. She is affirming of all identities, including those that fall outside of socially constructed norms.
